From a sampling, this seems like an interesting science fiction novel following John who retired from the Space Rangers to be a bodyguard for an academic who lives on a ranch. But things are not as they seem on the farm and John might be surprised about what he discovers. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

The book sounds really interesting. John definitely won't get a "less exciting life". Alternate realities and entities coexisting with Earth will send them on quite a ride that will be exciting to read about. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

An excellent review thank you.
The plot and setting is hypnotic.
I enjoy the limitless potential of the universe and like how a plot is built within this concept.
The exploration of the interconnected planets is interesting and so is the outcome of John's involvement in everything.
Congratulations to the author!

I am a fan of sci-fi but only when the story is well executed and has a bit of mystery or action. I hope this book qualifies that. It's also rare for a sci-fi to get 5 stars rating so congrats to the BOTD author.

I didn't think John Chantry's move to being a private bodyguard would lead to other worlds! The premise of this novel is definitely not what I was expecting. I don't know if this book has enough action and intrigue for me, but I'm willing to give it a try.

The book is so enthralling. It's definitely a must read. I love how they went back in time and the hold up of the stage coach was foiled.

The story sounds really enthralling, and it is good to read that the story, though fiction, sounds realistic and believable. I wonder if John's life will be less dramatic, especially given the pay rise. Many thanks for the review :tiphat: :tiphat: :tiphat:
