That it’s scary and intriguing makes it seem close to reality

Agree about prophecies...also sort of wish fantasy would end its love affair with the apostrophe in names, but it sounds like Ernie really liked it.

I like fast paced stories with lots of action! Sure have to read this one.

Fantasy authors do love their tropes like prophecies! But I'll happily overlook that for some exciting dragon vs. dragon action. Thanks for the review, I am looking forward to checking this one out!

Thanks for your review! I also really enjoy content with dragons so I'm happy to hear that this book was excellent! The contradictions you noted would have bothered me as well.

This was a wonderful review. Books with dragons portrayed are always interesting to me and I always enjoy a good dragon novel. I like that it takes you across different islands and shows you a real and fun adventure!

I like that in this novel the humans are seen as inferior to dragons, instead of the dragons being some big evil beast to be hunted and killed. However, I agree that a prophecy seems like a bit of a cop out, following the lines of every other book like this.

I am very excited to read this book! I am glad that the book is not black in white in the sense of dragons=evil, humans=good. It sounds like it has more dimension to it. I do wonder though, was it the author contradicting himself or was it Ra'aba just going, "Screw it, I'll do it myself." Obviously, I haven't come to know his character yet as I am just beginning the book, but I have seen that kind of mentality in characters before and usually find it refreshing/realistic which makes me hope this is the case.

Thank you for the engaging review! I am an avid fan of dragon novels, and I love how the dragons in this book are both good and bad. I read a lot of dragon novels, and it's nice to find more books with both sides.
