Thanks for your review! I like that Terra Nova is written in a well-balanced way. It's not fun when the bad guys are completely evil.

Don't think this book is for me. I am really into environmental issues though I know they are important. Congrats on the BOTD.

With the references to the Korean war and a planet on the brink of environmental collapse, this sounds a lot like one of those science fiction novels where the events are close to what is happening or could happen. It's great that the book has such an admirable protagonist, which clearly adds to its quality.
This post was brought to you by the word "specifically".

Definitely looks very promising, even if idea is quiet far distant from original. I read many books of similar plots, because I really enjoy said scenario, but unfortunately it is rare that I wasn't disappointed in the end. Hope this one will be exception.

I love the sound of this sci-fi book, full of suspense and mystery, environmental concerns as well as concerns of the human psyche. Just the kind of thing I think I'd even recommend to my father who also likes this sort of book :)

Thanks for the interesting review. While I am an avid fan of science fiction novels, I don't think that this book will be for me. I am very much interested in the environment and saving it, but the main character doesn't seem compelling to me. The storyline doesn't pique my interest at this point. I'll read a few pages and see where it goes, but I don't have high hopes that this book will interest me.

I enjoy complicated villains and Terra Nova seems to qualify. I love the cover and look forward to reading the novel. Thanks for the review and also to the author for the book.

the suspense on William's past intrigues me enough to still give this a try despite the cliffhanger, hoping for a sequel as well. good job on the review!

Wow, I'm beginning to love this book! I am very sure that Williams Emerson will not miss use his second chance, he will do everything possible to make things right.
and the Terra Nova...I think the guilty will be brought to book and Justice will be given to those who deserve it among them. this way the evil force will be destroyed and replaced with a better one.
I will surely get to read this book.

thanks for your review, I so much enjoyed reading it.

I'm not typically a lover of historical or war time books but this review has me wanting to read it immediately! I already feel a close connection to William Emerson as he had PTSD, mental health is a personal struggle of mine and a big element of my life. I hope that when I read this book, it will both inspire me and teach me how to cope with mental illnesses and that even if you may see yourself as something so small, others can see YOU as a hero. An inspiration. :techie-studyingbrown:

I definitely think this science fiction story would be interesting to me. This kind of story will help us know how to curb the menace of environmental challenges we face nowadays.

I’m glad you enjoyed this one so much, but it just doesn’t seem to tickle my fancy. Environmental issues aren’t my favorite sci-fi topic. Thanks for the review!

Thank you for this excellent review! I only read the opening chapters, with William in the war zone. I would have put it down, since the Korean War setting was actually in 2020 and I’m trying to stay more or less apolitical right now. Knowing where the story leads makes it much more likely I will continue reading.
