I like your review. The summary of the book is informative, while your rating is fair, objective, and justified. Great work!

Based on your great review, I definitely want to read this novel. The extreme violent content is somewhat daunting, but everything else sounds fascinating. The fantasy creatures of Elves, Ifrit, zombies, vampires, and the tentacled dog-like Barghest have me hooked. Your rating of 4 out of 4 stars and the comment that the author is a gifted storyteller is a plus. I am anxious to read this book.

"Firstly, a warning: do not read this book if you have a problem with a lot of people dying. "

Thank you for your great review and honest recommendation. I don't mind people dying but maybe not right now. You gave this book a glowing review and I am glad you enjoyed it.

It sounds like a great book despite the violence. I would love to read more on Cú Roí and the monster slayer, Grímnir. Thanks for a wonderful review. Congratulations BOTD.

This seems to be a fantasy with some notorious characters. Nevertheless it's got some adventure. Nice job. Thanks for the review.

Thank you for your review. It and the sample pages I read make me want to read the book, even though Fantasy is my least favorite genre. Mr. Bobbe starts the book running with the capture of two humans by the giant Cu Roi and the action doesn't stop.

Zombies arnt on the list of my liking but I enjoy vampire stories and this book sound like one I can enjoy reading. Violence is a good basis of action genre so it isn't an issue with me. Thanks for the informative review.

I'm a bit squeamish about violence, necessary or not, but your review made me interested enough to give it a chance.

It is wonderful to read about "Immortal Requiem."A book that features magic and adventures.
It would be fun to follow the characters through the pages.
Reading about how the fairies fought bravely.

Thank you for the review.

It is a skillfully told. action packed, mind boggling heart, pounding tale taking place over five days and steeped over two millennia..The story is told from the point of view of the main and minor characters.

The author of this book sounds like a very talented writer. I especially like the sound of the often inebriated elf.

I agree, the first sentence was all I needed. But after reading the review, I would love to see what became of Grimnir and Cu Roi's eternal feud. Great review.

I love Fantasy stories, I love any story well written and I have a high tolerance for violence, but I don't like hanging out in the dark any more than is absolutely necessary (there's enough of it in real life). So I've decided to give this book a skip. But I did want to tell you I thought you did a wonderful job with your review. It was thorough, full of information, listed according to priority and articulated well. I do appreciate you mentioning the extreme violence because it reiterates and demonstrates just how conscious you are of the different kinds of readers you have. I also appreciate the effort and lengths you go to in order to help us choose our next book.

"You are worthy to take the book,
and to open its to seals,
for You were slain and have redeemed us to God,
by your blood, out of every tribe and tongue and people and Nation." Rev. 5:9
