I would love to read some excellent light fantasy that mixes elements of humour and sarcasm to create an engaging and relatable protagonist who deals with issues in a positive and heartwarming way. This book seems exactly that with the added bonus of exploring important issues of self-confidence, self-esteem and body image.Great review!

Although this is a fantasy I can relate to Millie! I think we all take a second look at ourselves mid-life, and how we move forward from there is sometimes a battle. I like the fact that Millie has a sense of humor. This book sounds like one I would enjoy although I am not a fantasy fan! Thanks for the excellent review!

The worst critic is yourself, and Milly doesn't fall short of this. It will be interesting to know if she ultimately learned to appreciate her self worth. You certainly enjoyed the book and am eager to read it. Amazing review.

At such an age and time when mental health is proving more paramount and challenging attaining for some as well, such a book as this is important. Thanks a lot for the review. I hope the author will consider giving the book a second round of editing.
