The plot of this book sounds interesting and it's very fascinating for me to read scientific fiction. The futuristic concepts are very intriguing to read about and it shows the creativity of the author's imagination. However, a thousand page book is too much for me. I prefer upto 500 pages, more than that, I doubt I would enjoy. But the review stated that this book can keep readers interested throughout. So I'm sure it'll be a great read.

"Battlefield Earth: A Saga of the Year 3000" by L. Ron Hubbard is a science-fiction classic. The original edition was released in 1982 and the official review is based on the 2016 edition. L. Ron Hubbard usually wrote short stories but this book has 1,052 pages. The novel’s hero is Jonnie Goodboy Tyler who was born in Colorado close to 1,000 years ago after Earth had been attacked by an alien race named the Psychlos and they still inhabit Earth mining its metals and minerals for the Intergalactic Mining Company who receives the goods across 16 universes away from Earth. The miners do not care about the small number of humans that still lived in small groups on Earth. One Psychlo alien named Teri decided to amuse himself by messing with a small group of humans and this opened an opportunity for Jonnie and his friends living in the Colorado Rocky Mountains to fight back. The official reviewer gave this book a glowing review and rated it 4 out of 4-stars. Hubbard was one of the best science fiction writers in history and while he only lived until 1986, Battlefield Earth has exceeded 4 million copies sold. Since it can also be purchased as an eBook, the sales are surely much higher. Members can purchase the eBook for $2.99 on Amazon. It is a fascinating story with many twists and turns that will keep readers intrigued. There is no mention of scientology in this book. Since I have not read this book, I just ordered it from Amazon and will add it to my to-read list.
