The worldmaker of Yand series makes for a really adventurous franchise. The determination of the queen and her army in the face of treason and the obstacles they face only makes Queen of Highwings more engrossing. Congrats on BOTD!!

Nothing excites me more than seeing women understand their place and make the most of that position. Great reviews by the way and big kudos to the author for this book.

I'm guessing it's Hrya who would succeed her mother queen. There's no need to convince me of woman power. I've known it all along. I'm not young anymore, though, and usually shun sci-fi. I get confused by strange names that are a stress to pronounce. But I enjoy levity so I may give the book a try.

High fantasy series aren’t my thing, but it’s nice to see one that focuses on women warriors.

'Official Review: Queen of Highwings' by Andri E. Elia explains the relevant points of the science fiction fantasy book for readers. I love the way in which the reviewer explores the salient features of the story. The point that this is a story about the Yandar kingdom of Highwings on the planet Phe'lak, where a courageous queen emerges, leading her armies fearlessly in the face of treachery from former allies is worth mentioning in the review. Another noteworthy aspect was that the suspense in the story was captivating. Also, as mentioned in the review, the book reminds us that the power to overcome obstacles lies within us and can only be hindered by our own inhibitions. Nice to learn that the lessons in this book would fuel the younger females' hunger for exploring the greatness that goes beyond gender limitations!

Given the praise Hirya receives, she likely possesses the capability to take on her mother's responsibilities.

The vivid graphics and the powerful declaration, "Phe'laki women are warriors" entice me to discover the strength and resilience embodied by characters like Princess Hrya and loyal Enmiat in this wonderful fantasy novel.

I like that it apparently frankly deals with the costs of war, namely, long-term injury.

"troubleshooting" is an odd word choice here: it brings to mind the GeekSquad sitting at a screen, not (apparently Medieval?) fantasy settings.

"Hrya's tearful longing for home struck a chord, emphasizing the overwhelming sense of distance she felt despite being physically present in her mother's bed."

This sentence without the surroundings of the story makes no sense. Perhaps provide a little more context on what's going on. Why would someone be homesick while at home?

"Queen of Highwings" by Andri E. Elia. An interesting fictional novel, talks about Yandar Kingdom of Highwings on the planet Phe'lak. A fearless and courageous queen led the armies for a battle. But then she later had an enduring mark after the war, unable to contribute to the city's restoration. She had three has three children who can take up her legacy. The question is, who is of age or matured for that? Congrats on your #BOTD.

A fantasy book with captivating characters, vibrant illustrations, mix of humor, urgency and tension, and also a good message surely can engage any reader of any age and gender. the strange names and how to pronounce them are kinda bothering me, tho. Anyways, thank you for detailed and wonderful review.
