A neutron star named Ulysses is on its way to destroy Earth. Astrophysics genius Garret Long found a way to transport humans to another habitable place. Will the mission turn out to be successful? Hard decisions are to be made, like Rebecca's decision to stay back at Exodus. This is an immersive and scientifically accurate novel. I enjoyed reading your brief review.

The intriguing and thorough review of the science fiction thriller, Exodus" by Jean Hackensmith & Joseph McDowell, makes me want to read this book.
The hero is Garret Long - I wonder if he is from the long- lived line of Lazarus Long from the Robert A. Heinlein books, and he is a multi/talented astrophysicist. With the earth on a collision course to be destroyed in five years the plans must quickly be made to save humanity. This sounds like quite a thrilling adventure. Congratulations on BOTD.
If you're going through hell, keep going.

Exodus is a science fiction book that is centered in future times but tackles the issues of the destruction of Earth and the search for a new planet for humankind by the survivors. The story tells the consequence of a neutron star called Ulysses for the planet Earth, that will hit it most likely on April 14, 2028. The time constraint is a significant factor as an effective plan has indeed to be drawn, capable of providing positive results in just the next five years with astrophysics as a key subject. This story includes persons such as the character of Garret Long, that of Jeff Long, and that of President Rebecca McCann; all attributing majorly in the story. Authors' creatable power to present compelling facts about space and astrophysics help in keeping the story solid and easy, to comprehend. The book should be in your list if you are a science fiction fanatic and you can easily immerse yourself into a case where Mother Earth is on the verge of destruction and a new one (planet) has been found to be a credacious source of the information and knowledge.

With its fast-paced action, richly imagined setting, and thought-provoking themes, "Exodus" is sure to captivate fans of science fiction and adventure alike. Whether you're a longtime fan of the genre or new to interstellar exploration, Hackensmith's novel is an exhilarating ride from start to finish.

The review provides details that are important to the reader before choosing the book. The idea of losing the Earth and having to leave it is a terrifying idea. But also a way to build an exciting plot. I think the book will be fun to read. Congrats on BOTD

A book set in a dystopian apocalyptic world that is about to end in a bunch of years because of a neutron star that is in a collision course. The sample was very gripping and the idea is both anxiety inducing and intriguing. I love that there are scientific details in it, thanks for pointing that out in your review! I really enjoyed it!

It sounds like a captivating science fiction novel that explores the challenges humanity faces in the face of a catastrophic event. The storyline of the characters on a mission to find a new planet to save humanity from extinction is intriguing and I'm looking forward to reading it. I enjoyed reading your review of Exodus. I do wonder how far the technical research took the writers, since you mentioned it in your review. As a science fiction fan, I do look up terms that are new to me as if I were writing a book. You are correct about their research, at least as far as a layperson can tell. The prospect of total destruction of our solar system — rather than just our earth — doesn’t sound too appealing when only a handful of people may escape. You summed it up quite well that this book is a solid 5 out of 5 stars.

With the pressure of the workd coming to a decisive end, i wonder if the time left would be enough to find a solution. Would humans maintain their civilization after that? Congrats on botd!!

This sounds like an exciting and fast-paced race against time story to save the people of Earth from Armageddon. The focus is to leave Earth for new worlds and the dangers they may face in developing the technology. Gripping writing.

Sounds like a very interesting book for those who like sci-fi. The idea of leaving the Earth and living on a new planet reminded me of the similar apocalyptic movie. It was scared me and I definitely get more paranoid about that. already stressed out with everythinggoing on in my life. This book is not something I would enjoy reading at this moment. Thank you for your well-written and enthusiastic review.
