Thank you, CataclysmicKnight, for a thoroughly interesting review. I really enjoyed reading the sample and the review just added to my pleasure. I will be checking out this book, especially since it's Book 1.

Sounds like an intriguing read! Congrats on the review. Aside from the age factor, I think I'll like this book.

What an odd reference for a book. It sounds intriguing though. Game of Thrones and harry potter mixed together can definitely become one recipe.

I agree that having characters so young involved in circumstances like the ones you described is, as you said, off-putting. Along with the deficit of details. However, since I'm an avid lover of Harry Potter, I'm planning on putting it on my shelf and reading it anyway! Thanks for the great review- you answered all of the questions I normally have after reading a review.

This fantasy story is exciting to read. The three characters, Brimstone, Neutron, and Heat remind me of Harry Potter and his friends. The beginning of the book has also a touch of the Lord of the Rings and The Divergent. They are all mixed up but fortunately, all seem to fit in this story.

Another Harry Potter-like fantasy. The review brings it out as a lovely read for fantasy book lovers. Mage Brimstone had to e an orphan for the story to thrive well.

I always like your reviews. Today's book of the day would be a winner in my book if the proof and edit work was done.

The character of Leaf becoming Brimstone I did enjoy.

Great review! I had an issue with the ages and darker moments as well. It didn't sit well with me and I found myself conflicted throughout the story because of it. I agree that more details in suspenseful moments would have made the book much more intriguing, but overall I think it is a good read. Well done!

Don't care much for fantasy, violence or series...but for those who enjoy this genre this looks like quite an exciting book & series. Thanks for your great explanatory review!

I agree, a little dark. There seems to be a bit of a buzz starting about this one, though. It might be worth a try. I also like that it's as short as it is for a fantasy.

A fast-paced fantasy read with epic battles sounds like an interesting read to me, despite the characters' ages being a bit off. Great review.
