The idea of aliens kidnapping women and experimenting with them sounds frightening. However, I am intrigued about the romance with an alien. I like when authors include things like a glossary because it shows they worked hard at creating their worlds. Thanks for the review!

Abductions... Alien romance. While, The Matriarch Saved by J.Y. Olmos sounds interesting from the review, I am not particularly drawn to this genre.

Thanks for the review. This definitely sounds like an interesting concept. Its nice to see an alen invasion book told from a female's perspective.

I had mixed feelings about whether I wanted to read this book, but after reading your review I may give it a try. The fact that it is well structured and satisfactorily edited is a big plus, it shows that the author is professional and takes her work seriously.
Your review has been very helpful, it is succinct and to the point. Nicely done!

The story, as described here, reminds me a bit of The Handmaiden. You know, a catastrophic event that changed the life of the protagonist forever, and she finds herself denigrated to the role of being a vessel to bear children for the new overlords of society. The alien touch seems intriguing though. I don't usually go for stories that involved aliens, having read a few that were so clumsily handled I can't even look at space-themed movies anymore. But the romance...? Hmm.

I also hate cliffhanger endings. They really just are so annoying.

The plot sounds intriguing. Though the sample is too gory for comfort, the review makes me want to read the book. If I were there, would I rather be dead than alive?

Thank you! Your review is very well-written, and I'm so glad you enjoyed today's #BOTD! :-) I know what you mean about cliffhangers, though, not many people like the unresolved feeling at the end, but it sure does get you excited to read the next in series! While I greatly appreciate your enthusiasm for this very well-written and edited book, it is just not the one for me. I downloaded my copy, just in case, but Alien Romance is not really my cup of tea. Keep up the great work on these awesome reviews! :-)

I typically don't read science-fiction but the plot of this book sounds interesting. The fact that the men and women are separated from each other and experimented on by aliens makes me intrigued to find out more. I also like that there's some romance added. Great review!
