I was immediately captivated by the rich and imaginative world that L. Bossi has created. Aetrelys, with its ancient Seri race and their unique energy-wielding abilities, feels so real and immersive.

Thank you for your great review. I'm glad that mental health issues were also included. From the sample, it is written very well and enticing. Though sci-fi/fantasy books aren't a genre I usually care for, it did keep my interest, and the fact that there is a Reva in the book sold me on trying this book. I don't believe I have ever heard of a book with my name in it.

I can imagine what Enpirion had to deal with. With the fall of the empire he worked for, he would be everyone's prime target. I guess life had more for him than he knew.

Congrats on BOTD.
L. Bossi's The Enpirion Project: Exordium is a compelling fantasy adventure that includes a subplot about lesbian relationships. It looks at atonement, supporting relationships, and mental health. Beautiful visuals, a unique magic system, and world-building enhance the narrative. Despite being a little slow-paced, it is interesting and sincere. For fantasy aficionados, highly recommended!

Asides romance, this book also focuses on mental health and importance of a strong support system. Being used as a living weapon when all you wanted was a happy life can be a tough place to find oneself. Enpirion must have faced a lot of struggles and having healthy relaionship will help along the way.

“The Enpirion Project: Exordium (Book 1)” by L. Bossi is a fantasy story that focuses on mental health issues soldiers have and the many relationships they experience. Enpirion is alone after the fall of the Seri Empire that used him as a weapon. He now has to live with a reputation as a murderous monster who killed many on the battlefield. He can use his wings to fly high above the battlefield. He has a new commander named Nephael that wants him to open up to him. He begins to believe that there is a place for him in society until an old evil cult re-emerges. His nightmares reveal his suppressed memories so the book focuses on the importance of strong supportive friendships. The illustrations in the book really enhance the story.

I absolutely loved this book! The way the author developed the characters' relationship felt so genuine and heartfelt. The portrayal of queer love was beautiful and authentic, and it really resonated with me. The ups and downs of their journey made their connection even more meaningful, and I couldn't stop reading. It's always refreshing to see diverse love stories that aren't just about the romance but also about growth. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a touching and empowering read

I love that the romantic relationship isn't the focal point of the book and that the author took the time to flesh out the friendships as well. The magical aspect of the book is appealing as well. Thanks for the review!

It sounds like Nephael and Enpirion's relationship is going to be more than a friendship. I wanted to find out why the Seri Empire fell and how Enpirion was involved. Congrats to the author for having the BOTD.

The exploration of mental health issues and the value of supportive relationships in this book adds a deeply human element to the fantasy adventure. The unique blend of a fresh magic system, nuanced queer romance, and stunning illustrations makes this book stand out, even in a genre filled with rich world-building and complex characters. Nice review.
