Though sci-fi/fantasy books aren't a genre I usually care for, it did keep my interest, and the fact that there is a Reva in the book sold me on trying this book. Being used as a living weapon when all you wanted was a happy life can be a tough place to find oneself. Enpirion must have faced a lot of struggles and having healthy relaionship will help along the way.

Enpirion is alone after the fall of the Seri Empire that used him as a weapon. He now has to live with a reputation as a murderous monster who killed many on the battlefield. He can use his wings to fly high above the battlefield. He has a new commander named Nephael that wants him to open up to him. He begins to believe that there is a place for him in society until an old evil cult re-emerges. His nightmares reveal his suppressed memories so the book focuses on the importance of strong supportive friendships. The illustrations in the book really enhance the story.
