Thanks for the review. I do love reading sci-fi but I was somehow lost and the story didn't appeal me. So will pass reading this book.

Based on your review, I believe I would absolutely love this book. I love that there is always something to look forward to. The characters sound interesting. I feel like I could probably fall in love with this book and read any series that may come. Thank you for your review, it is very well written!

I think the name of the book matches the description especially with the changing view points in the construction. I might check out this one. Thanks for the review.

Based on your review, the book Blocks by Tara Basi sounds like an extraordinary story. The plot contains the mystery of the monoliths, the daily life of the less than perfect human crew of a spaceship and the suspense suffered by two adolescent boys trying to survive on an apocalyptic earth.
I'll put this book on my reading list. Exceptional review. Congratulations on Book of the Day.

I opened the book, Blocks by Tara Basi, and found that there is a character called Battery Boy. Not being a big fan of sci-fi, I closed the book right there. That's me being judgemental. Then I stumbled upon this review and I am sorely tempted to give it an actual shot. I like good descriptive books, they provide better reading experience. Based upon your review this book seems to fulfil that requirement. Great Review! I really look forward to read one of your books!

I do like reading Sci -Fi and Fantasy but I didn't enjoy this one. The little bit I read I didn't understand, I think it jumped around to much.

I enjoyed the sample of the book, and the review has piqued my interest even more. This is not usually my type of genre, but I was enthralled by the writing and the vivid descriptions in the sample, so I think I’m going to give it a try.

Thanks for this scintillating review; I'd thoroughly enjoyed it. I've heard (or read) about the author several times and the positive reviews are convincing enough to place this book on my shelf. It's great that the story is realistic to the extent of causing jump scares.

The quote at the beginning of the book the book really captured my attention, it was a statement that I wouldn't have established from the topic. I was actually fascinated by the way Stuff looks up to Battery Boy. With Battery Boy having spent more time in the wastelands, eleven year old Stuff knew he was a rookie here. As much as they both had agendas of their own, with that of Stuff being no more than that of survival, but he felt Battery Boy's superiority. It's a good read. Definitely worth every moment of my time.

"Blocks" by Tara Basi is a Sci-Fi book that I would love to read. Stories about people trying to solve the mystery of large monoliths that have been placed in various locations on the Earth's surface sounds very appealing.
