I re-read the series 3 times. The 3rd time I read it to my 9 year old and 7 year old. I can tell you its been a great experience for me and the kids. Love this series. I hope that when they are a few years older, they will read it themselves and enjoy it as much as I did.

I think what makes Harry Potter so successful is that J.K. Rowling is so creative with the world, like pictures and paintings move, and Quiddich. She does things you don't expect. She also creates themes to learn from, such as the perceived elite trying to wipe out the "un-pure". She really is a great author and she does a great job of having Harry grow up rather than writing it with just his age changing without changing who he is along the way.

Always remember Dobby is a free elf!!!
Oh my gosh! I never actually considered how amazing Dobby's story would be. He had always been one of my favorite characters too. I seriously hope she decides to do this!!!

The Harry Potter series is my go-to for a fun escape. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve read the books. 8)

This series holds a special place in my heart. The Sorcerer's Stone was the very first book I read when I learn to speak English and even though I found it difficult to read in my new language, I fell in love with it. As my knowledge of the language grew and I became more comfortable with it, I dove into the series completely and I can honestly say that it's by far my number 1 series of all time and I highly recommend it to anyone that hasn't read it yet.

I absolutely love these books! I remember when the 6th one came out my mum and I flew to London and the moment I got off the plane I went to the first book shop and bought the book and after that I asked my dad to take to me King's Cross. I really enjoyed reading these books.

Harry potter is a series of 7 books about a life of a wizard as the title suggests, Harry potter. In this series Harry potter struggles to overcome life obstacles and defeat a dark wizard who killed his parents. There are many plot twists in this story and Jk Rowling writing skills enable the readers to sympathize and feel what Harry is feeling. Overall this series is one of my most enjoyable books I ever read.

I love the Harry Potter series. I just get the feeling that the world is alive, the characters are like real people and the plots and subplots are the perfect blend of familiar and new. The books portray the good things about this new world as well as creating the sense that there is a darker side (aside from the actual dark side, that is). While there are some inconsistencies, these are minimal and distracted from by what is happening. It's very easy to relate to the characters and it's always a big thing when something happens to them, so much so that I often went into denial even when I knew what was coming. It's just a very imaginative world with characters who seem to explore you as much as you explore them.

I have read this series more times than I can count. My mother gave me The Sorcerer''s Stone and The Chamber Of Secrets when I was eight or nine and it just went from there. To me the series captures my childhood, I feel like the characters and I have grown up together. I remember the disappointment I felt when I didn't get a letter from Hogwarts on my birthday. To this day I reread the series at least once or twice a year. I feel like with every reading I gain a new insight about myself, the characters, or just the world in general.

What an amazing series! The story is one of the best I have ever read, and that's saying something. The movies are ok but the books just whisk me off to another world that I never want to leave :D JK Rowling did such a wonderful job as an author and creator when she wrote this, you can feel her heart in every word and the way she immersed herself into the story to better deliver it to the reader. The series must be read all the way through, if it seems a bit more for prettens when it begins just wait, the maturity grows as Harry grows. It's an amazing way to develop a character through the story and the excitement just keeps coming to the end.

Also I hear that she's writing another book in the HP world!
