The Queen Of Xana by Fred Pilcher
This is a book that shows the benefits and results of a good reign and also good morals. Queen Julia is the reigning queen of Xana. The land is full of corruption since almost all the palace officials are corrupt. The people of the land of Xana are so poor that they can hardly feed themselves, leave alone their families. When Queen Julia dies, her daughter Princess Agatha takes over the kingdom and tries making it a better place. With her unique gifts, she is sure to change the land of Xana to be better. She is always fighting for the poor in the society and fighting against oppression of the poor. For Queen Agatha to bring prosperity to Xana, she has to make love to her husband, Prince Olaf, as her first love without failing. Her task is to identify Prince Olaf without asking about him and make love to him on her first trial. During her reign, she makes sure that Xana is corrupt free and even introduces schools and a new corrupt free council. With her reign, the land of Xana prospers and becomes the greatest land in their history. However after she dies, more leaders come to rule and as times change, Xana's prosperity deteriorates since not everyone was born a leader.

I liked most the part where Queen Agatha made love to Prince Olaf and the land of Xana became free from the evil charm of witch Magi. I also loved the part where Queen Agatha got married to Prince Olaf and also crowned as the Queen of Xana. I also really loved it when Queen Agatha introduced learning in her kingdom and built as many schools as she could. I hated most the part when some of Queen Agatha's most trusted council of advisers turned against her and started stealing from her and being corrupt just like the previous ones.

I rate this book a 4 out of 4. I really loved the book and would encourage other people aspiring or thinking of reading it to do so without any hesitation. It is a really great book. It is also knowledgeable and quite lovely.

This book is most appropriate for people above sixteen years. This is because it contains several instances of nudity and nude details which would upset children under the age of sixteen years.

The book was superbly published and contains no accounts of typing errors whatsoever. The book however has a couple instances of nude scenes.

I really loved this book. It is unputdownable. It is addictive and makes one want to keep reading and never complete it. It is great to read for fun or even when you are on a roadtrip or just sun bathing.
