The Hand Bringer by Christopher J. Penington
Peter is a police officer. As a kid, he had an IQ of one hundred and fifty, with the machine having a maximum of one hundred and fifty so its hard to know his true IQ. He unfortunately gets bitten by a vampire while at his line of work. Normally, the vampire virus could have infected and killed him but he actually is resistant to it and after some advanced treatment he gets immune to the virus. He however gets some of the good attributes of the virus: increased agility, strength, sense of smell and heightened senses. He is given a task of going back in time so that he can alter history by killing the founder of vampires so that there can't be any vampires in the present time. He goes there with the promise that he can actually save his son. He is accompanied by his doctor,Doctor Kolemis, his colleague, Luke, and some spy to keep them in check. They encounter a lot of challenges while there and lose some of their friends but all in all, they fight their way through all those hardships. Peter actually falls in love with a woman there, Boriana. They have quite a good time together and even though they have their differences, they manage through them. Will they however manage to conquer the queen of vampires, Deycheba? Will they get to defeat vamprism? Will they get enough time to go back to their normal time and continue their lives? Lets learn more as we read this great novel. This novel is one with betrayal, sadness, happy moments, love, greed for power, loyalty and ancient traditions.

I liked most the part where Peter and Boriana get married. Also the part when Peter got to save his son. I also loved it when Peter took in Boriana even after she had been defiled by all those men. It was also hilarious when doctor Kolemis was sent to Antarctica. It really served him right.I however liked least the part when Doctor Kolemis decide to betray his colleagues because of his own selfish reasons. I also did not like it when Dracula gave an order for Boriana to be raped by his men for attempting to kill Peter. She really suffered a lot. At some point it felt so sad like I was the one experiencing that ordeal.

I rate this book a 4 out of 4. This novel is so captivating and lovely. Giving it a lower rating would be doing it an injustice. I really loved the book and as long as I am concerned, I wouldn't lower my rating.

The most appropriate audience for this novel is people above the age of sixteen. It contains some erotic scenes that would upset kids and children. It also has some profane words inappropriate for kids less than sixteen years.

I really loved this book. I actually read it three times and would read it over and over again. It is really captivating and easy to read and lovely. I recommend it to everyone who wants to read it or is thinking of reading it. It is a really great book.

This book was exceptionally published with no typing errors and very great grammar. It actually has some building vocabularies that i found quite lovely. As you read the book, you also learn more which makes the experience even better.
