Containment Breach by Wm. A. Yandell, tells the tale of the encounters of a Bioengineering scientist, known as Walter Smithton. Walter works at a research center as a 'life former'. This is a scientist that forms creatures that are to be used for further observation, and research. Walter, and three others, Steve, Jack, and Marcie, are all enlisted to embark on a rescue mission. Their destination is a station in outer space that has been outrun by similar scientific creations. The story in summary, gives the reading audience a glimpse into the experiences of Dr. Smithton, and his colleagues.

The book began on a very passive note. The reading tempo of the book started off at a very low ebb, before it began to exacerbate progressively from the point where Dr. Smithton, and his team were assigned to embark on the rescue mission. I found the story quite intriguing. It left me wondering, about how possible it could be for a scientific researcher cum inventor, to fall prey to the product of his research. The plots were well-written, and enhanced. The character description was quite good. Though there were some details left out for the reader to fill in, it wasn't difficult to grasp the concept behind the story. The array of characters in the story were quite interesting. I found Walter Smithton's character, most intriguing. His character was a combination of intelligence, caution, and extreme thoughtfulness, especially before he takes any action. According to the story, he is also a 'mind reader', and has the capability to read and understand the thoughts of others. This, he employed in various plots, and used this ability to his own advantage. In my opinion, it made his character a very unique one. The moral values in the story were quite vague, but the author did a good job in making emphasis on the importance of the family. This was shown in the demeanor and attitude of Jack, Dr. Smithton's colleague whilst on their trip to outer space. In all, the story was a good one.

What I loved most about the book was how it ended. The story, without revealing spoilers, had lots of unexpected twists and turns. I disliked nothing about the book.

The book was professionally edited, and I found no errors.

I am rating the book 4 out of 4 stars. It's amazing how inventions can be 'for' or 'against' their inventors. I found that aspect of the story very entertaining.

I am recommending the book to all lovers of Sci/fi stories. Avid readers who are in the research field will also find the book entertaining.
