The Hand Bringer by Christopher J. Penington is a book about a police officer, Peter Hadrian who is in search of his son. The search of his son led him to discover vampires. These vampires existed in the 15th century, through the notorious Dracula, who is the major threat. These vampires transfer viruses when they bite someone, turning the person to a vampire too. Doctor Kolemis and his team worked to produce an antiviral serum, that can annihilate vampires. Peter was entrusted with the mission to find Dracula and kill him, with finding his son as a reward. The Apocalypse Suppression Administration (ASA) gave him the task to kill Dracula.

What I liked most about the book was the author's use of an efficient narrative to tell the story of vampires as a threat. He illustrated how modern medicine is trying to solve the problem of vampires. We see Doctor Kolemis trying to prevent the spread of these vampires through his vaccine. Elizabeth got infected in the book and this led to more people getting threatened by the vampire virus. There is nothing I disliked most about the book. It is a book, full of vampire stories with a mixture of romance.

Vampires are dangerous creatures and the author showed that well in this book. Vampires are contagious too, making them more dangerous. Peter was the Hand Bringer. He's got to kill Dracula, who is more dangerous than others in this book. Luke was a police officer, committed to tackling vampires.

This book is meant for people who read about vampires. The setting of this book is in Romania and there is much emphasis on Romanian history in this book. It is historical too, so it's meant for people who read history. However if you have a horror for vampires, you will have to skip this one. This book is mainly about vampires, so I will not recommend you to read. If you are fond of romance too, this book is suitable for you. Nicolae and Marin were vampires in this book. They show how threatening vampires are. Peter killed a bear in this book, showing his fierceness. Tackling vampires requires courage and the author showed that in this book. Peter was courageous.

I did not find much typos and grammatical errors in this book, so I will say that the book is professionally edited. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars because it is professionally edited. Pick this one if you love science fiction, history and vampire stories.

Books about vampires are always always very fascinating but more than often they're written very poorly. Not to send any hate but Twilight is a primary example of how terrible a vampire book can be. The vampire diaries season raised my standards, and I believe that is why I may give this book a chance. Because I believe when someone reads about such stories, they want to read about their monstrous side than their humane side. Your review is written wonderfully, I read this author's another book and even that was really great. Thank you!

This sounds like a great vampire book. A book packed with action with a hint of romance. It’s something I will read in the future. Thank you for your review.
