Orson Scott Card and maybe a spoiler

Has anyone read Magic Street by Orson Scott Card? I know it's a bit old, but it's very good...interesting in how the story develops, too.
Card uses Shakespear to create a wonderful world and some very dimensional characters right in someone's backyard.
At times the book flounders, but Card brings it back to speed. Regardless, I enjoyed the read enough to read it a few times.
If you haven't read it, you might consider it.
Just wondered.
