Review by Vivienne2000 -- Containment Breach
Containment Breach by Wm. A. Yandell
The outer space has been invaded by creatures created by Dr. Zayack. They however have become hostile and kill any human in sight. Everyone is trying their best to find a way to kill them before they come to earth and kill all humans. They go for a group of doctors on earth who are believed to be able to reverse the creatures and kill them. Dr. Smithton has started his research on making such creatures, albeit secretly. He has proceeded to further Zayack’s research and made better winged and stronger creations. He calls them Zayans. He communicates with them through telepathy. If he is found, he risks his death and the Zayans'. He and three other scientists are abruptly taken from their work and taken to space to work on finding a way to kill the creatures up there. He is also made their leader which makes Dr. Steve jealous and not want to work with the team. Bush takes this to his advantage and separates them. He takes Dr. Jack and Dr. Steve to work for him since they are the ones who seem agreeable on what he wants done despite the damage to be incurred. Dr. Smithton works by himself and is taken to the storage since they believe he is of no importance anymore. However, tables turn and it turns out that Dr. Smithton is more valuable than the whole group put together. Let’s read this book together to know how all this ends. Will it be successful, or will it blow up and cause the end of the human race on earth?
I loved the part where Dr. Smithton could distract a reader's mind so as not to betray his true thoughts. That really saved his life and that of the Zayans. I also loved it when Dr. Smithton finally managed to understand the Zayans and Zayai and could communicate with them and hence created peace between the humans and the creatures. I least loved the part where Dr. Marcie turns out to be a trooper and betrays Dr. Smithton. I also hated Bush for everything he did to maintain his power and position.
I rate this book a 4 out of 4. This book was well written and very well developed. There were no instances of fast tracking in the story development. There were very few grammatical errors that could be corrected. The plot was great and I loved the suspense all throughout as you read.
This book is most suitable for people thirteen years and older. It does not contain any profane words or erotic scenes whatsoever. It, however, has some violence in some parts but nothing anyone can't handle.
Generally, I loved this book and would recommend it to anyone with the intention of reading it. It is great to read and very addictive. I loved it.
