From the very first encounter you knew something was wrong. Something went very wrong.

Dr. Smithton is sought out for his unique studies, which is closely based on Dr. Zayack’s work. Four scientists are taken into space to resolve what no other scientist or military operation could fix. Saving humanity. They think Dr. Smithton has the right mind for this operation, but they have no idea how true that actually is. Walt has been practicing for this moment his whole life, even if he himself did not realize it.

The scientists are not given much time to think about what is happening. They are not asked to agree. They used deceitful tactics to get them on board the spaceship. The situation is getting worse and time is of the essence. But no operation ever goes off smoothly. There are two opposing leaders on this one mission. There is one undercover spy and one egotistical scientist believing himself to be the true hero. But they must get this done! Will they find out about Walt’s secret experiment? Will they find out Bush’s true intentions? The hope of the world is held in their hands. The survival of mankind!

I truly lived myself into the novel Containment Breach written by WM. A. Yandell. So much so, that I want to know more. I am left needing more information on the characters and their lives. How and where did they let the Zayans and Zayais live? Did Dr. Smithton go back to earth and meet up with Sally and have his happy ending? Did they get the other Zayai’s off earth? Despite all my questions, I enjoyed Containment Breach tremendously.

The book is well written, and the readability flowed, making it an easy read. I felt that the author captured the emotions of the characters very well and the plot was continuously exciting. I enjoyed the description of the characters personalities and felt the true fear towards Bush. He was the perfect villain. Dr. Smithton was such a softhearted scientist, that you love to love him.

My favorite part was in the end when Dr. Smithton won the Zayais’ trust and saved the day. I disliked the open-ended way the story ended and would have liked to know that there is a follow-on novel. I rate this book a well deserved 4 stars out of 4 as the author kept me reading and kept the story alive throughout the book. I would recommend the book to any adult with a love for sci-fi literature.
