I was quite excited about the premise of Project Tau and I'm even more excited about this one. An evil tech corporation using shady technology like cloning and AI doesn't sound too far from the truth unfortunately and that is scary. Thank you for the well detailed review.

Good sci-fi novel but wish it were a stand alone sequel. What made Kata believe that he was a clone? Did he behave like one before his capture?
Anyways, now that he's modified, he can cash out on the clone idea.

I haven't read Project Tau before and science-fiction isn't exactly my cup of tea but this seems a really interesting read. Character and plot development are the foundation of creating a well-balanced and progressive story and I'm glad to know on your review that the author achieved both. Thank you for the great review!

Thanks for the review, sci-fi is not usually my first choice when it comes to books but I am intrigued. It takes special skill to find the balance between action, levity and thought provoking subjects.

What a great review! You have convinced me to read the first and second book of the series. It sounds exciting, fast-paced and funny. All things I’m a fan of in the books I read.

Projects Kata and Tau (and the experimental dabblings with the morality constraints of what constitutes humanity) thoroughly entertained me in book 1 of the series. I look forward to seeing where their journey of escape takes them next!

I have been looking for a good Sci-Fi book for a while. I love characters that I can relate to and genuinely feel something for. This maybe the book for me. I'm adding this to my reading list. Thank you for this insightful review.

I have seen this on amazon before and when I read the reviews there, it did little to capture my attention. But this time, I'm completely eager to read it! Great review!

Science fiction has never been my cup of tea, more so when it can't be read as a standalone. However, I believe this will make a good read for fans. It has won BOTD before. CONGRATS!

I just finished chapter one, and I'm in love with it already! It's the right amount of suspense and intrigue to lure you in. I already know I love her writing style and the fact that she incorporates humor is a bonus. Thanks for the recommendation; I'm excited to delve into this series!

It takes an exceptionally talented author to discuss serious topics on the backdrop of science fiction, and yet keep the reader so engaged and hanging on the story that they can't put it down. Couple that with intricate world design and well-developed characters, and you have the perfect recipe for a science fiction series. This sounds like an awesome follow-on to Project Tau. Thanks for the great review!

Home coming sounds interesting, it highlights on very important themes such as what constitutes a human and also touches on eating disorders. I might not particularly like the idea of adult language and violence but this will not stop e from appreciating the creativity of the author.
