Containment Breach by Containment Breach by Wm. A. Yandell is one of the most interesting science fiction books I have read. It revolves around Dr. Walter Smithton as he is tasked with saving humans from creatures that are killing them. He is a leading scientist who is developing new life forms by reconstructing DNA in organisms. While continuing in the footsteps of his predecessor, Demetrious Zayack, Walter has made an astounding discovery. A discovery that he believes can explain Zayazk’s sudden disappearance.

When he and his team of scientists from the earth are taken to space by a military group they had one mission. It was unclear what the mission entailed until the team made their concerns known. They were told to destroy the work done by Zayack before it became too dangerous to the human race. And now, Walter and his team of scientists are the only hope of stopping Zayack’s now out of control creation. As people often find out, things are not always what they appear to be and this case was no different. How would this story turn out?

This novel is incredibly well written. It was well organized and planned out which made it easier for me, as the reader, to understand it. Wm. A. Yandel did an excellent job of writing so descriptively so that all his depictions are very vivid. I felt myself being pulled into every inch of the novel as if I were a character in it.

The character development in this book is very commendable as characters such as Walter, Tallen, and Bush are very relatable to the reader. I found myself picking favorites halfway through the novel. The themes identified in this novel were camaraderie, hope, valor, and self-trust. These themes were seen in the relationships between the team and how they interacted with the other characters in the novel.

My favorite part of the novel was the ending. It was written with an open ending so that there can be hope for a continuation of the story. If that is the case I would be excited to read it. Containment Breach is professionally edited and no errors were identified in it. There was no profanity and sexual content within this novel. I would recommend this novel to science fiction fans and readers over the age of sixteen (16) as some of the content of the book may be unsuitable for younger ages.

With all of the above statements being considered and my personal opinion, this novel deserves a rating of 4 out of 4. It was truly a great read.
