Any animal lovers out there?

Post by BookWorm552 »

Species Intervention 6609, The first book is called Baby, 2nd: Echo, 3rd: Armageddon Cometh, 4th: Hive, 5th: Evil Among us, and the 6th book yet to be released is called The One...
This is an AMAZING series. twists and turns and something going bump every page you turn! It shows how a lot of the humans in this world are corrupt and treat others so badly and it also shows how they treat animals and such. I just adore how these books play out and how the Animals are treated in the Hive or the underground cave. it is such a story that will make you want more.
Has anyone else read this series yet?

I will say that I am new to discussion boards and such so I am still figuring them out but I would LOVE to be able to discuss this book or this series I should say, with others.

Hi Jon Ross!!
I have never used discussion forums before but YAY! someone answered me! haha

seriously though, I am sitting here DYING and impatiently waiting to find out who The One is and read the very last book of this series. I have NEVER been into sci fi type stuff but these books have dragged me in so much it is crazy! Baby and Echo are like little alien beings but they are SOOO lovable and sweet but not because they have to deal with the grossness and ignorance of human beings. and The Hive is the place they all hide out from the Apocalypse type stuff going on, kinda like noahs boat when there was a flood, but this isnt a religious book by any means as to push religion on anyone I was just using those as examples. :)
It shows us how we can easily be put at the bottom of the food chain if we do not change our ways though. I hope you look into it because this series is an awesome read!

Thank you so much for commenting! I got so excited when I saw someone replied! you have made my day! xoxo

Yes. I am an animal lover. I love to read books that feature animals, paramoral is great. The ones you recommend are sci fi?? Not with ray guns and spaceships I hope. I get bored with that. I want emotions, real people, danger etc. Is it well written? So many of the ebooks are shaky. Wildlife conservation is my thing but its hard. I get upset with what scumbags do to creatures. I hope there is no animal abuse in it, sounds like something I might be interested in. Let me know about the abuse.

I love this series of books and I will be sad to see it end. The humans taking care of the animals, and vice versa honestly the animals are taking care of the humans emotional needs in the book. There's so much to be learned from this series. what's your favorite part so far?

WikedWich, it is definitely not about ray guns or spaceships! haha. but it has two little alien creatures that are so loveable (furry animal like creatures!) and as for any abuse, that is basically what this whole series is about! How humans are disgusting in how they treat each other and animals and how we SHOULD be treating them.
It has emotions most definitely! I laughed AND i cried while reading this series. I wish there was more that I could go into without giving away too much of the story but lets just say that God did not intend for us to be at the top of the food chain, we are suppose to love and care for all of his creatures in a manner that will make us worthy and such.

Hey Mom14043 do you know who The One is yet? I think I have an idea but I cannot wait to find out if I am correct! I think my favorite part so far has been the love shown between the humans and animals in the Hive. and how they are taking care of each other, I also love Netty and how she runs everything down there underground, how her and Will show their love of all kinds but show their faithfulness to their alien counterparts and the animals and how they will not put up with anything bad down in the Hive and how they take care of the BAD people. I just adore baby and Echo so much it is unbelievable.
I am also going to be sad it has ended when it ends but this is def a series that I can read over and over again, and for me that is something!

This sounds like a great series and one I am definitely looking forward to reading. I am a firm believer in taking care of animals. I have 2 horses now that were rescued, a cat that came from a shelter, and despise anyone that is cruel to animals.

I have always been a guy who had a dog. Upon visiting a no-kill shelter to donate food and litter, I was adopted by two cats! I have recently read several books whose "characters" included animals. Any horse lover would like "The Eighty Dollar Champion" by Elizabeth Letts. "Until Tuesday" by Luis Montalvan is one terrific books about a dog who has PSTD and his eventual owner who had the same and "Suspect" by Robert Crais has a similar theme. Highly recommended! :D

I have been trying to find out the exact date but to no avail so I am just trolling amazon waiting for it to go live!! They are quick and easy reads but thought provoking at the same time.
