Parallel world

I recently reread one of my favorite books, One by Richard Bach, for the umpteenth time. It is a lovely book about entering a parallel universe. It is about the choices you make. I loved this book. It is fiction that answers a 'what if' question about parallel world - What if I had taken a different path?
Anyone read similar books?

Have you read The Reality War Books by Tim C. Taylor. There are two books that are similar to Pilgrim's Progress, with alternate realities. There is both the question of what if a different path was followed as well as which reality has the right to continue. They are a great read, but you definitely get to a point that it is difficult to separate the protagonist and antagonist.
