Divergent is a trilogy about a world in which the people live by a strict class-like system, each facet contributing a unique set of skills to the community at large. It is excellent! The third book is coming out next week. I agree that if you loved Hunger Games, you will love Divergent. Although it is classified as young adult, I believe, like Hunger Games, it deals with issues that all ages can relate to and enjoy. I would definitely recommend it.

I actually finished the entire trilogy this weekend...leaks happened.

So much better than the Hunger Games imho. Love the characters and the action.Story is so well done. Great twists and really makes you think.

Allegiant out TUESDAY!

Yeah, i have read it.

It's kinda like the hunger games but kinda not at all. It's really good you should read it if you're into science fiction.

I am a huge fan of dystopian fiction! This is one of the best series! Right up there with Hunger Games!

I have read numerous reviews of Allegiant and many of them said it was horrible and ruined the series for the reader. Has anyone read it? Would you agree? I loved Divergent and Insurgent and was looking forward to the 3 rd installment of this fantastic series but I do not want to read it if it is going to spoil the series for me.

Hi! I did read allegiant...and was sorely disappointed. I wouldn't go so far as to say it ruined the entire series for me though. It was slow and boring for the most part, then the end seemed completely out of character (for each character). It just seemed like someone else wrote the 3rd book.

I, too, was disappointed with Allegiant. I went back and reread the first two books in the series, since I had read them a while back, to prepare myself for Allegiant. My teenage daughter got to read it first, and told me several times just to NOT read it. I did anyway. I was hoping for more.
