We are Voulhire: The Knights of Chalethire is a fictional story written by Matthew Tysz. This is the fourth book under the We are Voulhire series. This depicts the outcome of the previous book and the continuation of Galen's journey.

After the destruction of their hometown, Galen, Demetrius, and Rowan flee to Chalethire. The events in this book occurred a month after they had settled in Chalethire. Galen works as a blacksmith. Rowan went to Soulhire to check on his family. When he returned, he applied as a manager at an accounting firm. Demetrius studied magic under the guidance of the Order of Joshua.

One day, the three decided to tell the knights what happened at Virko. Led by Harper Renard, the knights went to Virko to investigate. During their mission, Rowan was captured by the demons under the authority of Kayden. Galen and Demetrius, along with the knights, returned back to Chalethire determined to rescue Rowan. Will they succeed?

As the story progresses, the plot becomes more and more interesting. I enjoyed reading it. I applaud the author’s way of writing. His descriptions made it easy to picture what is happening. The author switches from the first person to the third person depending on the scene. Others might find it confusing but I liked it. Writing the main protagonists’ perspective in the first person helped me connect to them more. Also, writing the other scenes in the third person allowed me to see what is happening in the background. It helped me to fully understand what is happening in Voulhire. This is the first time the three protagonists are separated. I also noticed that they all developed their skills. Galen continued to hone his forging skills. Demetrius learned to use his power more efficiently. Rowan's archery skill is outstanding. Even though they have only been staying in Chalethire for a month, the knights already recognize their skills. I am curious as to what will happen next.

Overall, this story deserves a 4 out of 4. I didn’t find any errors while reading. I believe that this novel is professionally edited. Some scenes are gruesome. There arr some mild sexual content as well as profanity. Since this is the fourth book under the We are Voulhire series, I do not recommend this to people who have not yet read the first three books since this contains some major spoilers. I do recommend this to those who read the first three books and wanted to know what happened after.
