Steel Reign: Flight of The Starship Concord is a gripping and fast-pace novel that takes you on an adventure with characters that you fall in love with. Set in space, there is a good mix of science fiction and reality that is very immersive and believable. The plot is well written so that everything ties together in a way that was a suprise. This book brings you on a ride, gives you a huge plot twist at the end and then, at the last second, bring it back in a spectacular fashion. The character development really brings you close to the characters as if they have become close friends of yours.
It was an interesting choice of the author to replace more adult language with similar words so that an older audience can have that meaning and younger audiences may be none the wiser. Also, the use of number symbols are not necessarily needed to keep the reader engaged as mentioned. I feel it gripping and exciting without.
