The book We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is more than just a book. The story captures the reader and takes them to a whole new world full of possibilities. This is made possible with a mixture of action, fiction and adventure. Below is a brief review of the tale.

Galen is a young man living in the land of the princes. His uncle's dying wish was to bring him to Voulhire. The journey is long but worth every penny his uncle spent. On entering voulhire, Galen starts learning that the land is not as perfect as everyone is made to believe. Most of the leaders are having a war of minds over their power. Meanwhile, danger stirs on a castle where one of the most powerful mages is imprisoned. Everyone has their own dark secrets and is willing to kill to keep them hidden. Survival for the fittest is the mantra in voulhire.

What I liked most about the story is the introduction. This being the first book in its series, the author managed to introduce the characters and the land very well. Using a vivid description of events, people and places, the author is able to grab the reader's attention and maintain it throughout. There was a lot of suspense that makes the reader want to know more about how the story evolves. The arrangement of the chapters according to where the narrative takes place was also something I liked since it helped avoid confusion.

What I disliked most about the story was the description. It was like I had read the description of a different book. It fails to mention so many aspects of the book as the author focuses on explaining his writing style. This almost put me off as it sounded like a boring story.

I rate the book four out of four stars. This is because the story was one of the best I have ever read. In addition to that, the book was professionally edited and contained minor errors.

I recommend it to anyone who loves a combination of fiction and adventure. The story contained no sexual scenes so young adults can also enjoy it. Some parts of the story contain gruesome deaths. I would not recommend the book to anyone who can not tolerate such parts. Having said this, I will finish by stating that this review is my honest examination of the book.

I went to read the book description again, and I have to agree with you. I started reading it with an open mind, but not expecting much. I'm glad you also found it engaging and gave it a high rating!

Great review!

Great review!
Thank you. The fact that I always read the description before deciding whether to read the book is really good. But such descriptions reduce my chances. I am so glad I eventually read the book.
