Alastair Reynolds - Terminal World

Are there any Alastair Reynolds fans?
I have read quite a few of his books and they are all pretty awesome. 'Revelation Space' is probably one of my favourites.
Reason I am asking is I haven't read any Alastair Reynolds novels in about a year and I just recently started 'Terminal World' and I really just can't seem to get into it like I used to with the others.
Anyone else found this at all?
For anyone who hasn't read Alistair Reynolds novels before, he writes pretty dark and epic Sci-Fi novels. Highly recommended if you are a Sci-Fi fan.
