Review by Ankita_1359 -- Valoria by Tayma Tameem
Have you ever dreamed of becoming a prince or a princess? Fantasizing about adventures, riches, and the hope of finding your soulmate made you sigh with content. Or you are that person who enjoys a book full of kings and queens. Then Valoria by Tayma Tameem will surely delight you.
Two kingdoms bound with years of blood and war, and to ensure peace; they ally through marriage. Zeina is the princess of Valoria and is to be married to the Crown Prince of Intellectus. Her brother is also set to suffer the same fate, marrying the princess of Intellectus. But with the wedding date shifted and with no idea of what's going on, Zeina has to be careful of everyone around her. Our princess is free-spirited yet understands her duties to her kingdom.
With conspiracies and attacks assault her with each step she takes,
and marrying a person she barely knows, life looks miserable.
But as they say, "Love has power to bloom even in darkness." so is there any chance this happens for her too? And who is the one conspiring against them? Well, that's for you guys to find out.
I've read many books that revolve around the lives of royalty and their hardships. So, reading this book was captivating.
From the characters to the description of landscapes, the words wrap around you, and you find yourself living in a fascinating kingdom.
The most beautiful part of the story is how the author has captured the mind of a young woman who is strong and fierce but is still new to the emotions that arise in her as she embraces her responsibilities as a future queen. The ups and downs she faces as she gets to know about the man she has to marry are exciting. The one thing that makes this book unique is that we see every character's point of view. From a mother worried for her children to a queen bound by her duties, the emotions captured are beautiful. I also loved how the relationship between the crown prince and Zeina blossoms. I also loved the portrayal of how essential bonds without blood are shown. You get to see the dark side of being a royal, the betrayals, losses, and grief one has to face. The bond that the character share with their siblings leaves you with a smile on your face every time.
I find nothing to dislike about the book. From the plot to the thrilling narration, the book leaves me fully satiated. There is no use of profanities used in the book. Also, there are no mature scenes. The book is very well edited, which gives it a plus point.
I give this story 4 out of 4 stars for its uniqueness and immersive way of story-telling. The book is perfect for teenagers and adults who enjoy stories filled with thrills and emotions. The book will leave you wanting more. You will never regret reading this.
