Wow! What a glowing review! I am usually cautious when picking up this genre as I am still a newbie at it, but I already feel vested in this one!

Thank you for such an inspired and inviting review!

It's not easy to make a sci-fi story sound realistic but it looks like the author did a great job with this book!

This seems to be an intricate book. I like the different themes and how they form one engaging plot. I also like the humanness of the characters. Amazing review!

Hemiphos is quite an interesting teenage horror novel. There is a lot of mystery surrounding a castle. The villagers are of the belief that it is haunted and that anyone who enters it either dies or returns insane.

Nevertheless, three teenagers refuse to believe in such stories and are determined to prove otherwise. They of course decide to enter the castle.

The language used by Jacob is very imaginative and she relies a lot on literary devices. The reader feels as if he/she is right in the midst of all that is going on in this story.

This book is ideal for teenagers and adults who enjoy reading horror or thriller novels. It is dark and eerie and a lot happens within the first two chapters of the book.

It will be interesting to see how brave these three teenagers really are when they are faced with what they have always doubted. :techie-studyingbrown:

A science fiction book, set in a haunted castle whose inhabitants abandoned it for more than two centuries. The 16-year-old main character stands out for defying danger. It looks interesting.

The review whets the reader's appetite for a well-written sci-fi thriller. The suspense is on point and keeps you on the edge of your seat. How is Roxanne connected to the mansion and did she find her father?
Thank you for a superb review.

A fantasy combined with a haunted house type of mystery, this book sounds like a variation of the classic ghost story combined with some interesting variations in a plot with unexpected twists. The characters, especially, Roxanne, sound lively and entertaining. The review certainly provoked my interest about the plot line being a combination of centuries past and the modern world. Your review was detailed and absorbing reading.i

This supernatural sci-fi story is filled with mystery and romance. Is the castle really haunted? What or who lives there? Congratulations to the author for writing this fun and scary story. Thanks to the reviewer for your excellent review.
