How is Roxanne connected to this haunted castle? Will she escape the mansion with her life and sanity? Where is Roxanne’s father? I can't wait to read Hemiphos to find answers. Also, the book cover of this book is really good. Congrats on the BOTD.

A science-fiction book that is full of mystery and ghosts and other scary creatures. I want to visit this castle. Thank you for your review.

This seems like an interesting YA fantasy novel. I am not a fan of past and present narrative but done well it can be an excellent addition to the story. This wolf on the cover caught my eye immediately. Good job with the review.

Thank you for the great review. I read the preview and together with your review it intrigued me enough to make me want to read the book though sci-fi is not my favorite genre. Your argument for exploring the book is very compelling.

That seems a fairly apt review based on the sample I read. I like your description of Roxanne and how you used your reaction to her as a character to highlight the author's abilities!

With a deserted castle that has been abandoned for nearly two centuries, gossip and fantastic stories rumored by people in the nearby village, and the pranks of three curious teenagers, this would be be an excellent book to read during the season of Fall and Halloween.

The descriptions of the characters and countryside are very in-depth and pull the reader into the story. Then the author will startle the reader with a surprise that will send chills up their spine.

I have only read a sample so far, but believe that this is a book that is well worth reading and that most people would enjoy.

Roxanne sounds like a wonderful character, and from the little that I read of the book, you immediately get the impression that she's the real deal. Thank you for the review and congrats to the author for being awarded BOTD!

I am always interested in reads about "haunted buildings" and the people who dare enter. This review really makes me wonder about what really happens in the abandoned mansion and why everyone becomes crazy or does not come out. Especially the link between the main character and the mansion interests me further.
