This is a refreshing and interesting fantasy storyline. I like the names of the characters. And I like the fact that the conflict here ensues because of a non-magical baby, that's a new perspective. This should be a series worth starting.

I am not a sci-fi fan, though I liked Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. But there's something here that intrigues me. The mirror reminds me of Erised and Snow White, LOL!

I wonder if Lila succeeded in her mission. Was the baby intentionally destructive or was she powerful in her own unique way? This book sounds interesting. Lovely review.

No, the baby lacked any magic, so he shouldn't be born in the magical world. Thus, he disturbed the balance between the two worlds I know it's a bit complicated! Thank you for your kind words!
