Official Review: Ripple by C. A. Smith

I am rating this book a 3 out of 4. I absolutely loved the storyline and the descriptiveness the author, C. A. Smith, uses. However, I noticed multiple misspellings as well as punctuation errors. In addition, there were a lot of short sentences and run-on sentences that were slightly distracting. Other than the spelling errors and the punctuation, the book kept my attention, and I didn't want to stop reading!
John is just like the average person; he has a wife, a house, bills, goes to work and has a daily routine. The one day he decides to sleep in a tad longer than usual, his whole life changes. After a series of unfortunate events, John finds himself confused and unsure why his memory is jumbled. Eventually, John learns what happened to him, and has a plan to get his life back to normal. Unfortunately, he has to keep everything secret - including from his wife - or else!!
At first, I was weary about the story line and where the book was going, but I was enjoying the way the character was describing what he was going through. Towards the middle of the book, I was so enticed I didn't want to put the book down; I was anticipating what would happen next, and I absolutely loved it! The ending made me very anxious wondering if his plan was going to get his life back to normal, or if his plan would fall apart, resulting in dire consequences.
In addition, the book makes you wonder about other "dimensions" of your life and how every decision you make affects your life. It makes you curious about all the what-ifs in your life; what if you didn't take that promotion, where would you be? What if you took back roads to get to work instead of going you're usual route? I'm the type of person that worries about everything; therefore, this book really kind of "hit home" for me.
In conclusion, clearly this book is fiction; I absolutely love reading fiction, I just can't get into non-fiction usually. I would definitely recommend this book to others, especially if you enjoy reading fiction. The only reason I would not rate this book a 4 is due to the punctuation errors and the misspellings; also, I wouldn't rate this a 2 because I feel like it kept my attention, and I didn't want to put the book down!
