The book, We are Voulhire: The fires of Vikro , is the second novel in the We are Voulhire Series . The book starts by introducing two new main characters, Folcro and Lord Kayden. Galen Bray and his friends, Rowan and Demetrius, travel to the city of Vikro to strike a deal with the city to get some metal for Galen’s blacksmith shop. While in the city, the Group meets Lord Kayden and Lord Venden, Folcro’s father, to try to strike a deal. The group then learns from Lord Venden that his house may have a demon bound to the undercroft of his magnificent castle. He asks them to fix this when he is on his death bed. When the group tries to grant him his wish everything goes chaotic, and the unfolding events prove to be heartbreaking for the city.

The positive aspects of this book are it: flows well, it keeps you entertained, and it gets a good laugh out of you. Even though it switches between multiple points of view, it is so well-written that it keeps you on track, and far from confused. A little bit of humor here and there is a pleasant touch that the author has added to spice up the book a little bit. He equally does a nice job of mixing action and engaging dialogue. It keeps the book from being too boring or too action-packed.

We are Voulhire: The fires of Vikro has no potential downsides to it. It was exceptionally well-edited and written by the author. The extraordinary amount of time he put into this series and this book is obvious when you read it. When a piece of literature is well-written, you can truly appreciate the superior quality, and that is evident in this work.

I rate We are Voulhire: The fires of Vikro 4 out of 4 stars because like the previous book in the series it was an enjoyable read and did not disappoint at any point throughout. From the first page to the last page, the humor, action, and suspense keep you on your toes. I cannot wait to read the rest of the books in the series if they are as good as the first two.

The audience that would best fit this book would be people who had read the previous book in the story. If you have not read the prior novel in the story, you will not be able to follow what is going on in the story because a lot of the story revolves around what happened in the prior book. In addition, if you are a fan of magic, kingdoms, and deception this novel would be undoubtedly a good fit for you because magic and sorcery are a big part of the plot of the story.
