We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz. Galen Bray from the land of the Princess, goes to Magnum Caelum, where his uncle, summoned him to become his successor of blacksmith business. There he met Rowan, his uncle's executor, and who later became his good friend. Rowan pledged to help Galen till when he started making money for a living on his own from his uncle's business. One day when they went to Alcovia to buy white steel, Rowan and Galen discovered something unique which demanded their curiosity to find out what it was, thus they went to Yamon soul to consult an imbuer. They found Demetrius, a monk, who accepted their job offer. On another storyline, King Wilhelm coronates Judge Eldus as Lord for Hillport after imprisoning Meldorath. Meldorath made himself lord over Hillport after killing lord Orlin. Meldorath was a powerful mage, whom all people of a Voulhire feared most because of his unmatched magical powers. After three months of lordship over Hillport, King Wilhelm ordered his imprisonment.

The above story-lines are just part of a number of interesting storylines in We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies. There are different storylines, which slightly married at some point in different ways in this book. The main basis of all plots is Voulhire, which is the main link to all storylines; for all characters and plotlines, were of Voulhire though from different parts of it.

What I liked is the authors narrative skills. How each chapter was written precisely. switching from one storyline to another. Some chapters are written in first person narrating style, which I guess Mr. Matthew used Galen's voice, but most of the chapters are written in a second person view point, even though story lines and characters differd from those in Galen's storyline. Lastly on this paragraph, I am sincere to say that It's hard for me to specifically state what I liked most about this book. Because I liked all the plots of all different storylines especially Meldorath's. I liked his humble nature. Despite of him being so powerful, he respected the king's decree.

The only thing that I disliked was the drastic end of the book which left me in suspense and eager to know the next happenings in all the storylines. I was as well a bit uncomfortable with some profane words in some scenes.

I guess that the book was professionally edited. Saying this because I didn't find any error when reading it. Thus having said everything above, I rate We are Voulhire:A New Arrival Under Great Skies, four out of four stars.

This book can appeal to a number of audiences like historical fictions fans, adventure novel fans, magical thrill fans, action thrills fans and sci-fi novel fans, aged sixteen and above. Sensitive readers who might be offended by profane language and deathly contents, are allowed to skip this one; Because even though not much, there are scenes with such contents in this book.
