The Cosmic Foot Masseur by Chike Deluna is a hilarious but thoughtful story of man Paul Mill, better known as No-One, who finds himself in a dilapidated hospital in Bombay. Waking up in a hospital is not a strange thing but this man has no memories, as such he is without a name and a past.

Eventually he is deported to Britain where he soon finds himself at the center of attention when his talent becomes public – that he can heal the sick and dying through foot massage. There is a wild rush of people for The Cosmic Foot Masseur who can change the world one foot massage at a time.

The Cosmic Foot Masseur by Chike Deluna is fiercely funny and makes for an interesting read. What is particularly striking about the book is its length which is massive by any standard. Yet, the author’s ability to raise the bar when the plot veered downward keeps one engaged to the very end. This is an ideal book to read when you want to escape from the seriousness of life and indulge yourself in mind-numbing indulgences like the throng of people who make their way to The Cosmic Foot Masseur.
