We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz was a phenomenal beginning to a breathtaking series. Voulhire is a world full of magic, rebels, and secrets. King Wilhelm Arcolo is the ruler of Voulhire, and lives in Soulhire the capital of Voulhire and the place where the castle resides. King Wilhem's greatest concern as King is the rebel group called Riva Rohavi. What everyone doesn't know is that King Wilhelm is holding onto a secret concerning a much more dangerous foe. Meanwhile a young man named Galen is headed to a town called Magnum Caellum. His great uncle had passed away and left not only his home but his blacksmith forge to him as well. When first arriving he meets his great uncles executioner named Rowan and he becomes his first friend and ally in Voulhire.

What I liked the most about We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies was the adventure. The book had so much going on that it was a very fast paced and captivating journey, because of this I never wanted to put the book down. I also really enjoyed the map that was in the beginning. This helped me out a lot while reading. I often found myself looking back at it, while I was following along with Galen's adventure.

Overall I found the book to be very enjoyable. The only thing I had a small problem with was the amount of jumping around the book contained. Although I found this mildly irritating, I was able to understand to some extent because the book followed multiple characters on their different journeys. It also helped that the author helped to ease some of my confusion by labeling the chapters based on the character you are following in that chapter.

Overall I genuinely enjoyed getting to read We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies. I never wanted to put the book down because I constantly felt like I was going to miss something. There were even times that the author did such a good job on the details that I felt as though I may have been right there in Voulhire myself. Because of the exceptional content and amazing editing in this book I feel as though it should definitely receive a rating of four out of four stars

I think that the best audience for We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz would be a great read for anyone who really enjoys a good adventure. Voulhire has all the things you need to get lost in a different world. Because there is no explicit context or language I feel it is also safe to say that the book is definitely suited for some of the younger ages as well. Such as high school or middle school kids, but at the same time adults wont find the book to be boring either.
