Review by Oishee -- We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under...
Galen Bray starts his journey to Voulhire from his home The Lands of Princes to take over the business of his great uncle as he is dying and finding an heir. His uncle's executor Rowan takes responsibility to find him and take him to Voulhire. But at the time when Galen was on his way, his uncle dies. Galen finds himself in a new life in an unfamiliar town called Magnum Caelum. Far away from his war-broken house, he starts a new life in Voulhire, where magic and mystery are intertwined with each other. Meanwhile, the death of two elites has stirred up the political atmosphere of Voulhire. One of them is Lord Meldorath, a very powerful mage. Rumors are spread about their hideous deeds. The terrors of some unpleasant happenings are hard to wipe out from people's minds. But a question remains, is Meldorath really dead? Many of the people believe he is alive and hiding, waiting for his chance. What is the reality? Did the mystery unfold?
We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies is the first book of the We are Voulhire series by writer Matthew Tysz. This book is a full package of a fantasy world, mysterious incidents, magic and, lots of different characters. The writer has built every character very skillfully. As the first book of the series, this book is more like an introductory about the fantasy world of the writer. Each chapter is about a character in this book which helps the readers see the Voulhirian world from different perspectives. I liked the character, Galen Bray, because he represents thoughtfulness and patience in both his long journey to Voulhire and in the adaptation of his new life. There are many other characters I liked, such as executor Rowan, Lord Eldus, and many more. I especially liked the fact that the writer has shown everything in detail, the fantasy world in the book is easily visualizable because of the writer's amazing storytelling ability. The writer has included a website link in the book that contains the history of Voulhire. Every part of the story is so well built which is praiseworthy.
There is nothing in this book that I didn't like. This book is very well written and very well edited as well. It's very much engaging and takes the readers on a journey to explore this new world. It contains profane content on a very small scale which can be said negligible. There is no noticeable spelling mistake or typo in this book which leaves a good impression. I rate this book a full 4 out of 4. This is a well-deserved full score. I loved reading this book so much and highly recommend it.
This book is for readers of all ages and all religions. There is no offensive content in this book for any religion. Fantasy lovers will absolutely love this book. I loved reading it so much and look forward to reading other books of this series soon and I am so excited to unfold the mysteries of Voulhire. Those who love the fantasy genre over other genres should not miss this awesome novel. Happy reading!
