I loved science fiction that talks about the approaching end of the world, and humanity's departure from a dying earth. And I loved the idea of being in trouble in this story. Thanks for the excellent review!

I am not really a fan of fantasy and sci-fi books. I don't want to read about the end of the world at the moment. I won't be reading this one. You wrote an insightful review.

A very interesting review on WW 11. To make our world and environment a conductive place and to live in harmony with each other.

A science fiction novel seems like one I could read now. Seems really interesting, I want to know how the colonists survived, if they survived.

It all cormmenced at WWII with Russian family exiled to Eastern Siberia and Japanese family who survived bombing of Nagasaki. While Yanbeyev family sought a legacy in medical field. The Mizushima family developed technolodgy to propel Nasa's research into the future. Both families archivement would prove essential to MagellanII mission but with rising tension among earth's political powerhouses, what will it take to leave earth in time.

I have long been a fan of sci-fi and apocalyptic fiction. This sounds like the perfect combination. I am very curious to find out how those left behind fare in a dying world. Thanks for the excellent review!

Well, I'm no fan of sci-fi, much less futuristic ones especially as this one hints at people "nonfictionally" preparing to leave the Earth for another planet. It's a hard sell for me because I know that the Earth will never fall to pieces and that humans have no other habitable home; instead, those ruining it would be removed. I'll pass on it, thanks for sharing.

Read the book myself and judging by your review, am surprised you didn't find unraveling the extensive time frame a bit straining

This is intriguing and at the same time scary in the sense that this could be the future of Earth. I am not really a fan of science fiction but this sounds great. Thanks for your review.

I love the setting of this story. It gives the representation of what life would look like if earth becomes unbearable for the human race. I think I'd love to read this book. Thanks for your review.
