Wings by Aprilynne Pike

Post by ShailalaN »

Aprilynne Pike takes you to an alternate universe, where faeries are viewed from a totally diverse perspective. When I was reading this book I thought, wow! It's amazing to what extent Imagination has stretched. Wings tells the story of Laurel, a girl who was never clouded by normalcy, regardless of living in a normal world. When she discovers that she is a faerie, her world, not only becomes questionable, but also something she views more closely. Pike's imagery personifies emotions, an unmissable read. I would highly recommend Wings, a story of faeries, never told before

I really enjoyed this series. I didn't like the last book as much as the others. The last book felt rushed. I would recommend this series. I also loved Tamani!

I'm just starting the third book and I love the series so far! I like the concept Aprilynne came up with for this story, but this love triangle is tearing me apart! I become all giddy when Tamani is in the scene, but then there's David and he's so sweet and loves laurel.... I don't know who I want her to be with! I feel just as torn. I am kind of leaning towards Tamani if I'm going to be honest about it though. He's just.....sooo..... Tamani >,<
I can't wait to find out what happens! I've read the first two books in three days, so I imagine I'll know soon enough!
