This amazing, thought provoking, awe-rendering and ingeniously concocted piece of art is worthy of nothing short of an accolade. A string of different worlds, all with separate intents and purposes, each stained by some shameful past that once confronted the very essence of their existence, strive to ply smoother paths which happen to be somewhat embedded in the crooks, corners and castles of the Voulhirian Empire. Shuttling between the politics and ado of the physical Cosmos and the mind-bending mysteries that lurk behind the shady history of Caromentis , Matthew Tyzs sculpts into being the possibility of an existence in which these two diametric entities unite in imperfect harmony.

From the cobblestone streets and simplicity of Magnum Caelum, to the refined modus Vivendi and embellishments of the Voulhirian capital with all of its burgeoning civilization, to the sacred walls and sophisticated towers of Yamon Soul and compassing across Hillport’s rendevouz of broken humanity resulting from a seemingly perverse and callous regime, and then travelling across the southern coast where a warded manor stands nested in the grassy nooks of Lorcia’s isle, and finally, not to forget the desolate clan of the Riva Rohavi- The stories and secrets journeying across all of these cities which collectively comprise the Voulhirian Empire circles around the unforgettable chronicles of Lord Meldorath and the unforgivable perversion of Hillport’s quondam ruler, Lord Orlin. As Galen Bray, a refugee of a calamitous past, liberates himself as he finds brighter clouds in the small and adventurous plains of Magnum Caelum, Hillport struggles to regain developmental and psychological normalcy at the arrival of its newly appointed Lord, Lord Eldus.

We are voulhire- A new arrival under great skies depicts a mentally engaging work of literature calibrated by a distinctive and dramatic turn of tables as events unfold and secrets reamain yet unearthed, with the intent of keeping the mind of the reader buzzing and brimming with questions. One of the most applaudable qualities of this book is the balance in the various themes portrayed in several characters and circumstances. Beginning with a tinge of Justice for Orlin's abominable acts, followed by a remarkable quest for survival depicted by Galen Bray in a solid attempt to escape the Land of the Princes as well as his naivety and novelty in adapting to the much easier life he found at Magnum Caelum. I also like the measure of licenciousness attached to the character of Midius Maido who poses as King Wilhelm's bosom rival. I think the most heightened theme in this work is that of power, which is seen in the character of Lord Meldorath. I particularly love the build in momentum with regards to his capabilities and intentions, leaving a fair amount of tension and suspense ravaging the mind of the reader. Another wonderful theme to look out for is that of humor, genorously rendered by Galen's supposed co-adventurist and friend, Rowan. I can confidently say, without any reservations, that the characters in this work were slowly, meticulously and magnificently built, one after the other.

In we are voulhire- A new arrival under great skies, Matthew Tyzs gives a very distinctive attention to detail in introducing a character or in describing a concept or feeling. I love how he launched the arrival of Beth in the latter part of the book, the depth and detailing to it is just phenomenal. It is obvious, without a shadow of doubt, that one can literally sketch mental illusions or images whilst poring over the pages of this book because of the level of craftiness employed by the author in sculpting the words, phrases and events into a series of motion picture playing consecutively in ones mind.

During the course of studying this book, I noticed no grammatical or spelling errors. I can say that this book was proficiently edited and is worthy, in every degree, of a 4 out of 4 rating.
