In the book the devil pulls the strings, the author J.W.Zarek tells about how the life of a man changes after an incident. The name of the male lead is Boone daniels and is a jouster. He lost his parents at a young age and grew up as an orphan. He is a man filled with lots of mysteries and surprises.
Because of a mysterious accident he ends up going to New York city where he encounters the female lead named Sapphire. She is a beautiful and smart girl who devotes herself to music. These two encounters a tragic accident which leads both of them to save New York city. In this novel, the author J.W.Zarek introduces a lot of quixotic characters like demovoi, wendigo and devils. This book entirely clings to the music of a musician named Paganini. So the brave male lead boone undergoes so many adventures to save New York. So whether these two saves the city ? Or ends up dying in order to save the city is known once you read the book.
The leading thing in this novel is that the author described each individual situation admirably including the vogue of every person. This novel is filled with a lot of mystery, a little bit of humour and a little touch of romance. And this book was so finely edited that i wasn't able to find a mistake. Sapphire is my favourite character and i love the way how she knew everything that is related to music. Each and every character in this book has it's own priority.
There is nothing i hated in this novel. But the minute thing that bothered me are the crows which show up every time. I didn't get to know what they are and why they appear. But that didn't bother my reading much. The ending is so beautiful and perfect. I wish it has second part too. This book pulled me into it and i felt like everything is happening around me. It has a lot of cliff hangers and twists and turns that makes you unstoppable.
I rate this novel 4 out of 4 stars for its explicit editing and well description and a unique story line. I recommend this to the readers who are into fantasies and adventures and prefer less romantic books. This book is suitable to the readers of any age group.
