I wondered from the start what it was. I was in suspense until I found out. Thanks!

I know how frustrating cliffhangers are! But even better you start expecting another good sequel. Thank you for such a good review! :D

What happens in Vegas... The enticement offered to Dalton lures in readers of every age! What could the Escapement entail? Is it worth it? This sounds like a fascinating series. Thanks so much for the captivating review!

This sounds extremely entertaining! The abrupt ending is the only thing that I am a bit hesitant about, but I wouldn't mind checking it out. Thank you for the great review!

Las Vegas is full of mystery and luck testers. The title gives an idea of something the protagonist would need to escape from. Thanks for a great review, I am very intrigued to know what's going on in the story.

If book two is out, you could go right from this one to that one, and it would probably work perfectly. Otherwise, you'd have to wait. Thanks.

Actually escapement is a term that means: "a mechanism in a clock or watch that alternately checks and releases the train by a fixed amount and transmits a periodic impulse from the spring or weight to the balance wheel or pendulum." Make of that what you will. Thanks for commenting!

Thank you for giving the definition. It's more to know. The door and the man on the cover gave the idea of escape. The title added escape to the thoughts. Thanks a lot for correcting my wrong idea of escapement.
