Many can relate to the underdog stories. It seems like the book is not yet ready to be published. I hope the author considers your review and takes the necessary steps to improve the novel.

Chronos, whether like an angel or a fairy, the savior, I like a story full of new words, as if it's a new and unique recipe, which must be tried before criticizing it, new fantasies, hopefully develop, do not stop even if someone criticizes looking for new spices / new words that can invite readers to read it

Even with the cheesy aspects you mentioned, I think that Charles is a wholesome character who would be a role model for teens today.

Thank you, as always, for an excellent review, Miriam.

Thanks for your honest review. The plot of this book doesn't sound very special; it's quite similar to the comics and movies about heroes. Coupling with the other negative aspects like the unrealistic and cheesy details, I don't think this book is for me.

Thanks for visiting. I think the book is best for high school kids, although I wouldn't know if even these young ones are now tired of the usual heroes.

I can't but imagine what Charles would do to Kennedy's gang with his new superpowers. Don't know why I feel his crush would like him more since his superpowers would make him look 'cool'. Nice review Miriam

This seems like a book I would like to read once the author gets help from an editor. Great review!

The eclectic familiar phrases sound interesting, but they might jar a little, along with the romantic awkwardness. Old cynic here! Thanks for your insightful review.

Am not a highschool student but I think I'll really enjoy reading this book. I want to know what happens next after Charles receives those powers. This book must be epic, wow.

From the review, I think this book sends a message that it doesn't matter whether you're rich or poor or have it bad at school or most popular, for you to do great things in life and change the world. Good review.
