The book Awakening written by Tayma Tameem was absolutely fantastic. The story is about two princess Katja and Amara. Amara, the younger sister of Katja has been gifted with powers by the spirit of the winter. She couldn't control her powers when she loses her temper, that happens often. Katja is the only one in the kingdom who loves her the most and helps her in controlling the powers. She is the only one in the kingdom who isn't afraid of Amara's powers. Amara hated herself because she does evil things whenever she gets angry.

The story starts by Katja waking up in an unknown forest. She neither know who her family is, nor her identity, except for her name. She discovers the Lady Snow, the evil queen of the Kingdom and the story continues. Will Katja be able to remember her memories? Why the spirit of winter choose Amara? At last will Amara be a good or evil queen?

The storyline is amazing. There are 28 chapters in the story and they are perfectly arranged. There are several positive aspects in this book. The dialogues are amazing and the plots are great.

The ending of the story is a bit rushed and somewhat confusing. The author introduced a new villan character in the middle of the story and that's a bit unexpected. I hope the second book clears the rushed bits on the ending. Overall the book is good.

There are no grammatical mistakes and typographical errors. The book is profesionally well edited. For the reasons stated above I give this book 4 out of 4 stars.

I recommend this book for the readers who love fantasy and magic stories. It's very pleasant to read this book.

I had forgotten that Awakening was part of a series—I hope those loose ends get cleared up in book 2. Thank you for your review! :balloon:
