I just started reading this series not so long ago. I started with Styxx just because it sounded interesting. I am now completely hooked! I have only read 3 of the books so far but I love them all. I find the authors writing style to be kind of eclectic...sometimes it's poetic and sometimes it's very blunt. I really enjoy the books tho. what do you think of her as an author and of this book series??

Sherrilyn Kenyon is by far one of my favorite authors! The book Acheron has to be my favorite book of hers that I've read (it's also in the Dark Hunters series). It's been a while since I've read it but I believe that Styxx is Acheron's twin so if you like Styxx then you should definitely read Acheron! I love the way her books really bring all the ancient Gods and pantheons to life.

This is by far one of my most favorite books to read. I tend to like thicker volumes in comparison to smaller ones and this one is perfect. The story follows the title character, Acheron, through his trials and tribulations as an Atlantean god. There are situations that are cringe-worthy (particularly the one involving his uncle) and a considerable amount of lewd/sexual material, so be warned if that sort of thing makes you uncomfortable (though it's absolutely nothing like 50 Shades, so don't panic!) Also, Artemis is like a bi-polar child who throws tantrums when she doesn't get her way.

Sherrilyn Kenyon is one of my favorite authors and in my opinion, this is her best book so far. The entire Dark Hunter series is amazing.
