Amanda is a teenage girl who is just finishing high school. She is unsure of her future and what she will pursue in college. Her sister, Siera, is six years old but does things that you don't see normal six-year-olds do. Amanda hopes to find a way to understand her sister. Unfortunately, Amanda and her father are involved in a road accident. While unconscious, an ancient deity chooses her to become the acolyte of truth. On the other hand, her father's doctor, Jamie, is chosen as the acolyte of death. He plans to use his newly found role to save his dying son, even if it means taking away the lives of other children. Amanda can instantly detect when someone lies to her, and she can also summon guns from thin air. The deity that chose Amanda expects her to use her powers to defeat Jamie and save the world.

Rise of the Savior: Acolyte of Truth is a science fiction novel authored by Antoine Bonner. It drips of mischief and violent delight. Throughout this dark fantasy novel, the author offers us an astounding story that covers the theme of love, power, truth, trust, and unity. He serves us a tale that has a sinister feel and takes us on a wild ride.

The best fantasy novels are not plain and simple; the best fantasy novels offer us a world where people fight for survival and only the ruthless win. This novel offers us a great fight for the greater good. The villain is driven by love but has wicked plans. On the other side, the protagonist is driven by love to do what is right. The story itself was one of the most laudable things about this novel. It kept me engaged and engrossed, wanting to know what is going to happen next. It was fast-paced and full of action.

I enjoyed reading this book for the better part, but it also had a downside. At a certain point, the book became too congested. It had a massive cast, and it was hard to keep up with the characters. I easily forgot some of their names. It felt like the plot stopped moving until I figured out how to move around it.

Overall, I loved this book. It is exceptionally edited. Most of the characters were relatable, and they had dynamic relationships. With everything in consideration, I give this book a rating of 4 out of 4 stars. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading fiction and fantasy novels. This book contains profane language; therefore, It is not commendable to young readers.
