Review of Fish Wielder
The book Fish Wielder by J.R.R.R. Jim Hardison is a fictional book based on a mystical world called “Grome”. The hero of the story is Thoral Mighty Fist, a mighty 6-feet tall, extraordinarily strong, and handsome human being. Thoral, along with his 2 loyal companions- Brad and Warlordhorse, engages in many adventures in the world of Grome. Warlordhorse is a horse from a very special lineage of horses. He can sense danger a few moments before it arrives. And Brad is a talking fish who cannot swim. As you may have guessed from the characters, this book is jam-packed with humor. The whole book is divided into 47 chapters, and all are in continuation. These 3 heroes, along with a few friendly forces, are on a mission to protect the land of Grome from dark forces. The book explores their journey as they battle Dark Warriors, 2-headed wolves, giant spiders, giant Grodes, weaponized pigs, enchanted warriors, zombies, Bogey monsters, and many other disturbingly scary creatures. Quite a mouthful, huh? But these are just servants of the main villain- The Heartless One. The Heartless One is the most cold-hearted, powerful, and mysterious being in the entire Grome world. The Heartless One is on a pursuit to eat the Pudding of Power to gain eternal dark powers to rule over the entire Grome world. Will our heroes be able to stop the dark forces? Will they be able to defeat such a ridiculously overpowered army?
There are many things that I liked about this book. Firstly, the humor. This book is insanely funny. The language, the dialogues, and the characters mix up to make a delicious cocktail of humor. Other than that, the storyline is genius. The climaxes and the plot twists are amazing. I love the author’s narration style and his analogies. The dark humor adds even more spice to the book. The author indulges you so deeply into the book, that it almost feels like you are part of the story! The book keeps you on the edge of your seat, giving you no clue about what is going to happen in the next line! I also admire how the author infused and ran a parallel love story along with all the crazy stuff happening in this book.
There is nothing that I disliked about this book. The book was exceptionally well-edited, with zero errors. But I would like to give one caution. This book has moderate profanity spread across the story. So, if you are uncomfortable with foul language and mild sexuality, this book is not for you.
I award Fish Wielder a rating of 4 out of 4 stars because this book is a fictional masterpiece, and deserves nothing less than a perfect rating.
I highly recommend this book to anyone above the age of 16. Even if you have a mild disinterest in fictional books, I strongly recommend you to try this one. It will surely commence your interest in this genre. The only people who should avoid this book are the ones who aren’t comfortable with profanity, as already mentioned above.

Exactly. Generally I am not much into dark humour, but this book is an exception. It had me laughing every 10 minutes.Mindful Wordsmith wrote: ↑21 Sep 2021, 08:55 I've read this book and it was a laugh riot. I still laugh recalling some of the over-the-top and funny action scenes in it.![]()
