If you like technology and post-apocalyptic themes, then this is the book for you! The story is about a technology that infuses human DNA with cybernetic matter. It was basically meant to make humans invincible- grow new organs, cure diseases, etc. Unfortunately it evolves out of control, spreading like a virus and turning its subjects into machines called Bane. and the Bane won't stop until every human being left has been infected and being that only 2% of the population remains, well lets just say its no bueno!

In the first book (originally published as Eve but recently changed to the Bane), the story revolves around a girl (Eve) who can remember nothing but her name and who fights to keep one of the last remaining human colonies alive. She gets stuck in the middle of a love triangle and her decision may affect the fate of mankind. I don't want to give any details about the other books as they may spoil some of the awesomeness of the first.

All in all, the entire story was a great read! the characters are fun and bring you on a journey in such a way that you grow with them. I did notice a lot of grammar errors (that always bugs me when reading a book). One or two is understandable, but there was like one per chapter, but other then that, the writing style was great, the stories were great, everything was great! i give it a thumbs up for sure!

This sounds quite captivating, I like the main idea of the book, it is an interesting attempt to humanize them or to dehumanize us...(?)
